De Bucas Power Turnout is de perfecte alles-in-één deken. De buitenkant van de deken is gemaakt van de oersterke waterdichte en ademende stof ballistic nylon. Door de speciale combinatie van een zon- en hitte reflecterende coating en een zilver uiterlijk is deze deken in staat om het paard in alle weersomstandigheden te beschermen. Deze stoffen zorgen ervoor dat lichaamswarmte bij kou beter wordt vastgehouden en zonnewarmte gereflecteerd wordt.

The Bucas Power Turnout range offers the best possible strength, durability, and quality. It provides perfect comfort and protection at both lower and higher temperatures than other rugs of similar weight.

The Bucas Power Turnout has a ballistic nylon outer, is waterproof, breathable, 1680 denier and has a heat-reflective aluminium inner coating and the sun reflective silver outer which extends the temperature range in which the Power Turnout can be used. Shoulder darts and Click’n Go with Snap-lock front fastening system means the Power Turnout is always the perfect fit! The rug also comes with Waterproofing of > 5000 mm Hydrostatic head and Breathability of > 3000 g/24h/m².

De antibacteriële stay-dry voering werkt als een zweetdeken. De Bucas Power Turnout Extra kan hierdoor op een nat paard gelegd worden. Deze stof is in staat om razendsnel vocht op te nemen. Het vocht wordt via de buitenstof van de deken afgevoerd en verdampt. Het paard zal hierdoor droog blijven door de isolerende luchtlaag. Dekenwissels zijn hierdoor overbodig.

Door de antibacteriële eigenschap zal de deken fris blijven aan de binnenkant. Door de schouderplooien, met gladde nylon voering, ervaart het paard veel bewegingsvrijheid. De Click’n Go sluiting met magneten, buiksingels en beensingels zorgen ervoor dat de deken vrijwel onmogelijk kan gaan schuiven en schuren, mits de juiste dekenmaat is aangeschaft.

De Bucas onderdekens, coolers en Power Turnout Neck kunnen gecombineerd worden met deze deken.

Oxford Fabric

The basket type weave of Oxford fabric gives it durable and breathable properties, it ages well and gets softer with each use, it dries easily after washing and it has a good resistance to abrasion.

Polyester Twill

The twill weave is characterised by its diagonal lines, which are created by an offset in the warp threads. Twill is very durable and hides stains well.

Pony Sizes

Available in smaller sizes to fit ponies.

Reflective Strips

Reflective strip placed on the rug so that the animal can be seen when an artificial light is shone on it.

Ripstop Outer

Ripstop is the pattern of the weave that makes the material less prone to tearing. This weave helps prevent any rips that do occur from spreading through the material.

Shoulder Darts

Shoulder Darts help to give your horse a more tailored fit across the chest and shoulder area. These are a signature design feature from Bucas.

Silk Feel

Silk-feel lining is smooth against your horse’s skin and helps keep the coat in good condition.

Snap-Lock

Snap-lock magnetic closure keeps your Bucas rug correctly positioned on your horse. It eliminates the use of Hook and Loop closures on the chest.

Stay Dry

Stay-dry fleece fabric wicks away moisture from your horse’s skin.​

One of my many favourite Bucas products is the Power Turnout rug. It’s the turnout range I predominantly use and there are many reasons for this. The main buckle on the horse’s chest is so secure, but it also has that little magnetic fastening for double security. If the horses are playing and grabbing one another, especially the young ones, they are not going to jiggle open any straps and cause the rug to become loose and dangerous. It’s seriously safe, the toughest, safest clip I have ever come across. It also gives me confidence turning out the older, top competition horses at night. It’s one less thing to become a hazard.
